Cambridge Advanced Motorists are a friendly group of trained volunteers who offer to guide members of the public, you, in ways of making your driving safer, smoother, more relaxed and more enjoyable. The primary aim is to improve road safety through feedback and guidance. The ideal is to go on to take and pass the IAM Advanced Driving Test although we also run a Drive On scheme intended for novice drivers or those who have not driven for some time. |
Our group primarily caters for car drivers around Cambridgeshire but we have a sister group for Advanced Motorcyclists. If you drive something else, e.g. commercial vehicles, do get in touch anyway for we may be able to help. Our social meetings are an excellent opportunity to meet others. We organise various speakers and events throughout the year, some of which are (loosely!) driving related, such as tank-driving or go-karting! |
